In Attleboro, a 51-year-old man named James McCormick is facing charges for stabbing his younger brother, Richard McCormick, who sadly passed away. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Melissa Drive. Richard was found outside a house with multiple stab wounds and was taken to the hospital, where he later died. James McCormick has been charged with assault with intent to murder, and assault and battery. Neighbors in the area were shocked by the incident as they described their community as typically quiet and peaceful. Beverly Darling, a neighbor, expressed her surprise, saying, "Very, very shocked and surprised. The neighborhood is so quiet you never heard of any trouble or any instances of this before." James McCormick is scheduled to appear in Attleboro District Court on Tuesday morning for his arraignment.
