Bhubaneshwar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader, Naveen Patnaik, says he is healthy and has been campaigning in Odisha for a month. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed concerns about Patnaik's health, suggesting a conspiracy and planning to investigate. Patnaik responded, saying Modi could have just called him to ask about his health. He also mentioned that some BJP members have been spreading false rumors about his health for years. Patnaik is running for a sixth term as Chief Minister of Odisha. Patnaik suggested that instead of focusing on rumors, PM Modi should address Odisha's special status request. The elections in Odisha are happening in four phases from May 13 to June 1, with results on June 4. In the last elections, BJD won the majority of seats. PM Modi criticized the Odisha government, saying a group has taken control of the system. He predicted a BJP Chief Minister in Odisha by June 10. PM Modi also mentioned that the BJP will perform well in West Bengal, with strong public support. He noted that the elections in West Bengal are one-sided, with the public favoring the BJP over the Trinamool Congress government.
