Story

A ship was attacked in the Red Sea near Yemen. The ship got hit and started taking in water. People think the Houthi rebels from Yemen might be responsible. They have attacked ships before because of the fighting between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. The attack happened close to a city called Hodeida in the Red Sea. This place is near a strait called Bab el-Mandeb that connects the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden. The ship that got attacked is called Laax. It is from the Marshall Islands and was heading to Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates. The company managing the ship is Grehel Ship Management from Greece. The Houthi rebels have been attacking ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. They want Israel to stop fighting in Gaza, where many Palestinians have died. Since November, the Houthis have attacked ships more than 50 times. They have taken control of one ship and sunk another. The United States Maritime Administration reported this. In 2015, a group led by Saudi Arabia joined the war on the side of Yemen's exiled government. But the fighting has not ended, and both sides are trying to make peace. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak said that the Houthis are using the situation in Gaza to cause more problems. He thinks peace is very important for everyone's safety and stability.
