Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins issues disaster declaration following Tuesday's severe storms

A multi-day power outage is anticipated, Jenkins said.

Severe weather that included baseball-sized hail and winds of up to 70 mph moved through North Texas early Tuesday causing damages throughout Dallas County. "This unfortunately will be a multi-day power outage situation, similar to the one you saw in Harris County and Houston," Jenkins said, referring to the severe storms that impacted Houston recently.
