Another man, 27 years old, had a minor head injury and was treated at Silver Cross Hospital. A third victim, a 20-year-old man, had four gunshot wounds but was stabilized at the hospital. The shooting took place outside the house, and the bullets hit the victims inside the living room. The police found many shell casings at the scene. In a separate incident, a man named Jon W. Hansen, 24, from Shorewood, was arrested for his connection to eight murders in Joliet in January. The shooter, Romeo Nance, fled to Texas and died during a police chase. Hansen told detectives that Nance gave him the gun used in one of the shootings, which he threw into the DuPage River. The police found the gun during a search near Hansen's home. Hansen is in custody awaiting his court appearance.
