Real Madrid will announce the addition of Mbappé next week. He agreed to join the team in February. Mbappé, the 25-year-old France national team captain, has been a fan of Real Madrid for a long time. He even learned Spanish as a teenager to speak fluently. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) tried hard to keep Mbappé, even getting help from France's president, but their relationship has soured. Mbappé confirmed in May that he will leave PSG after this season. Mbappé is a famous sports icon in France. In the 2018 FIFA Men's World Cup, he scored four goals and helped France win the title. He was named the Best Young Player in the tournament. In the 2022 World Cup, he won the Golden Boot but France lost in the final. Now, Mbappé will join Real Madrid, forming a strong attacking trio with Vinícius Junior and Jude Bellingham. Vinícius and Bellingham are top contenders for the Ballon D'Or trophy. Mbappé will also lead France in the 2024 Euros before joining Real Madrid. He wants to play in the 2024 Paris Olympics but needs permission from Real Madrid. Mbappé signed a contract to join Real Madrid on a free transfer after leaving PSG. Real Madrid may announce the transfer soon before Euro 2024 starts on June 14.
