The former Leeds Rhinos player died on Sunday four and half years after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND). On Monday, in her own tribute, his wife Lindsey said he was "simply the best" and was "loving, kind and caring".

Rob Burrow passed away on Sunday, 2 June, following a diagnosis of motor neurone disease. The former England international won eight Super League titles with Leeds Rhinos. Burrow raised millions to help build a new care centre for MND patients. The 41-year-old was diagnosed with MND in 2019 and raised millions.
