Taraji P. Henson to Host 2024 BET Awards

The 2024 BET Awards are coming soon. Taraji P. Henson will host the show. Last year, the event celebrated 50 years of hip-hop with great performances. This year, it promises to be just as exciting with famous performers and presenters. The BET Awards will be live on June 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on BET from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Drake has the most nominations with seven, including one for his album "For All the Dogs." Nicki Minaj follows with six nominations. Other top nominees include J. Cole, Sexyy Red, SZA, Victoria Monét, 21 Savage, Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla, and Usher. Usher will also receive a lifetime achievement award. The film nominees include "American Fiction," "Bob Marley: One Love," "Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé," "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," "The Book of Clarence," "The Color Purple," "The Equalizer 3," and "The Little Mermaid." Sports stars like Simone Biles, Naomi Asaka, Steph Curry, Lebron James, and Patrick Mahomes are competing for awards. Performers at the event will include GloRilla, Latto, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, Shaboozey, and Monét.
