AT&T and Verizon resume normal service after customers reported outage

Many customers of Dallas-based AT&T were unable to call phones on other mobile carriers Tuesday. The issue was resolved after a few hours.

At least 24 states were experiencing problems that plagued thousands of Americans from North Dakota to Illinois and New York.
