Black bear tranquilized and safely removed from Salt Lake City neighborhood

Residents in Salt Lake City were told to stay inside because there was a black bear on their street. The bear was sitting in a tree. Wildlife officers tranquilized the bear, but it fell 5 meters from the tree. Unfortunately, the officers couldn't make a soft landing for the bear. The bear had come from the mountains into the neighborhood. It fell from a 15-foot tree after being tranquilized. The bear was captured in the neighborhood and later released back into the wild.
