Series of Bank Robberies in Washington County Under Investigation

Two banks were robbed in Washington County within 72 hours. The police need help to find the suspect. KDKA's Ross Guidotti has more on this story. In the City of Washington, a white man robbed the Washington Financial Bank on East Wylie Avenue. Two days later, another robbery happened in North Strabane Township. The police think the same person did both robberies. The robber wore a surgical mask and gave a note to the teller, claiming to have a weapon. He got away with money from the First National Bank on Washington Road. The tellers stayed calm and followed the robber's instructions. The police believe the suspect is likely from the area.
