Daughter charged with fatally shooting parents in Bedford, Massachusetts

A woman in Bedford, Massachusetts shot and killed her parents on Thursday morning. The woman, identified as Thelma Tatten and Mark Cavallaro, was ordered to be held without bail. The incident happened when the couple was planning to take their daughter out for breakfast, but she shot them both in the head. The District Attorney mentioned that Cavallaro lives in the house with her boyfriend's family. After the shooting, she went inside the home and asked someone to call 911. She was taken to court in the afternoon and ordered to be held without bail. Cavallaro's parents also live in Bedford. The District Attorney described the incident as a shocking case of domestic violence. He also highlighted the issue of gun prevalence and availability, stating that many recent incidents involved firearms in the wrong hands. Bedford Police closed Washington Street for the afternoon.
