Husband accused of kidnapping South Florida woman in Spain appears in court

David Knezevich, the estranged husband of Ana Henao Knezevich who went missing in Spain, was arraigned in Miami federal court on a kidnapping charge. He pleaded not guilty and his case was assigned to a different judge. Prosecutors allege he was seen on surveillance video buying spray paint and leaving Ana's apartment building with a suitcase on the day of her disappearance. David Knezevich was deemed a flight risk and denied bond after records showed he traveled from Miami to Turkey and then to Belgrade, Serbia. Tollbooth cameras captured a Peugeot with tinted windows near Madrid using stolen license plates from the street where Ana was living. The investigation continues into the disappearance of Ana Knezevich.
