There is partially treated sewage being dumped into the Hudson River

Millions of gallons of partially treated sewage could be released into the Hudson River due to a sewer force main break in Westchester County.

Westchester County officials say boaters and swimmers should avoid the Hudson River from Peekskill to Yonkers because partially treated sewage is expected to be dumped into the water while crews repair a broken sewer pipe.
