Julie DeVuono, 51, admitted to money laundering and forgery, resulting in a sentence of 840 hours of community service, five years of probation, and forfeiture of $1.2 million. She was the owner of Wild Child Pediatric Health Care in Amityville and admitted to forging COVID vaccine record cards for cash. Authorities seized money and ledgers from her home in 2021. DeVuono's attorney stated that she took the fall for others. She laundered money on a mortgage and must give up firearms, licenses, and close her clinic. DeVuono and her family moved to Pennsylvania but she must report to New York state probation.
