A community walk was held to honor the victims of the 2023 Annapolis mass shooting, which left three dead and three wounded over a parking dispute. Charles Robert Smith faces 42 charges in connection with the shooting deaths of Mario Mireles, his father Nick Mireles, and family friend Christian Segovia. Smith got into a fight with Mario Mireles during a party, then shot and killed Nick Mireles and injured three others. Survivors and families of the victims walked through Annapolis to remember those killed and seek justice. The victims' families are still grappling with the tragedy and are determined to prevent others from experiencing similar loss.
