The NYPD discovered an arsenal of weapons in a man's car in Queens after he was pulled over for an obstructed license plate. The man was caught with guns, axes, and other items in his vehicle. He has been charged with multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession. The incident occurred one block away from where two NYPD officers were shot on June 3. Police are cracking down on illegal and obstructed license plates, as they are often used in violent crimes. So far this year, 683 vehicles with obstructed license plates have been seized.
