Paul McCartney to Perform in London and Manchester on Got Back Tour

Sir Paul McCartney has announced his first UK shows since headlining Glastonbury in 2022. The Beatles star, 81, will bring his Got Back tour to London and Manchester in December. He will play at Manchester’s Co-Op Live arena on Dec 14 and 15 and London’s O2 on Dec 18 and 19. The tour includes music from throughout Sir Paul’s career, including songs from the Beatles and Wings as well as his solo material. These upcoming shows mark his first live performances in the UK since Glastonbury, where he became the festival’s oldest solo headliner. Sir Paul also announced shows in France and Spain. The new UK dates will be his first since 2018 and will feature classics like “Hey Jude”, “Let It Be”, and “Band on the Run”. The tour has been highly successful, grossing over $200m at the box office. Sir Paul expressed his excitement about ending his year with these UK shows, stating that it's always special to perform on home soil. His Glastonbury performance, which included surprise appearances and memorable moments, was praised as one of the greatest gigs of all time.
