Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova suffered an injury scare in Berlin, retiring during a match against Anna Kalinskaya at the ecotrans Ladies Open after a fall. Despite leading 5-3, she had to take a medical time-out and returned with strapping but ultimately lost. Vondrousova, the defending champion, is set to play at the All England Club on 2 July.
