Accused rapist Uber driver in court after father shot him

An Uber driver in Washington state is in critical condition after being shot in the head. The driver, Ahmed Ali, was accused of sexually assaulting a highly intoxicated female passenger he picked up from a bar. The victim's father tracked her phone to a secluded location where he found her naked in the back of the Uber. A confrontation ensued, resulting in Ali being beaten by the victim's family and two shots being fired. Ali was detained by authorities and charged with second-degree rape and first-degree kidnapping. He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
