The Yolo County Mobile Farmers Market is making it easier to get fresh food

A Yolo County agency is on a mission to make it easier and more affordable for everyone—even those living in the most rural communities—to have convenient access to fresh food.

New numbers this year show that Yolo County is the most food insecure in California even though most of the households struggling to keep food on their table are home to people who keep it on yours: farmers and agricultural workers.
