The Ventura Pier is set to reopen after being closed due to storm damage

The 1872-built pier underwent extensive repairs since its January 2023 closure to ensure safety and structural integrity.

More than a year after being closed off to the public after suffering significant damage from strong weather, the Ventura Pier is set to reopen over the weekend. Alys Martinez takes a look at the work being put in to get things ready for the official reopening.
