There is a chance that Tropical Atlantic could come alive with a threat from the Caribbean

A narrow plume of moisture will be just wide enough to foster tropical development from the south-central Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean Sea and might deliver the first hurricane of the 2024, forecasters say.

Tropical Depression Two strengthened into Tropical Storm Beryl east of the Caribbean islands in the Atlantic, and it's expected to strengthen into a hurricane as it heads west in the days ahead.
