The display aims to explore her childhood and recording legacy, offering visitors a close look at her iconic looks and musical journey. Among the items on view will be customised cowboy boots worn by Swift during her Soul2Soul II Tour in 2007, as well as the black ruffled dress featured in her recent music video for "Fortnight." The Songbook Trail will guide visitors through different chapters of Swift's music career, highlighting key eras and significant moments in her songwriting journey. Designed by Tom Piper, the installations will integrate Swift's famous looks with objects from the museum's collection. Swift's Eras Tour, which has garnered a wide celebrity following including the Prince of Wales, Tom Cruise, and actors Andrew Scott and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, has been a massive success across the Americas, Asia, and now Europe. The exhibition at the V&A will run until September 8, 2024, offering fans and curious visitors a chance to delve into the artist's creative process and storytelling through her music and personal items. Kate Bailey, the museum's senior curator of theatre and performance, expressed excitement about showcasing Swift's iconic looks and musical journey to the public.
