In a brazen act of burglary, a group of four individuals targeted Huener's Jewelry store in West Hollywood on June 17, breaking in during the early hours of Father's Day. The burglary, lasting over 24 hours, saw the thieves cutting open safes and making off with the entire contents of the store. Co-owner Robert Goukasian expressed the emotional toll of witnessing their hard work being taken away, highlighting the thieves' celebratory behavior captured on surveillance footage as they hugged and high-fived while ransacking the safe. Despite the store's alarm system failing to alert the owners of the break-in, the company responsible has not provided a satisfactory explanation for the malfunction, citing a communication failure.
