Genk is currently hosting the RedBall, a striking 5-meter inflatable art installation, as part of the “Any Way the Wind Blows” exhibition at C-mine. The installation, which has previously graced major cities like Paris, Tokyo, and Toronto, is celebrated for its vibrant red color and large size, making it a captivating addition to public spaces. Mayor Wim Dries commended the cultural significance of the RedBall, emphasizing its role in enhancing the local art scene. The RedBall will be displayed in various locations throughout Genk, allowing both residents and visitors to engage with this dynamic piece of art.
