Sauk Rapids, Minn. — Country music artist Creed Fisher, 50, sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on Saturday night near St. Cloud, Minnesota. Fisher was scheduled to perform at Rollie's Rednecks and Longnecks in Sauk Rapids that evening. The Benton County Sheriff's Office reported that deputies responded to the scene of a two-motorcycle crash shortly after 7 p.m. According to authorities, Fisher had been socializing with friends at a nearby residence before the incident. He left with two other motorcyclists, one from Sauk Rapids and another whom he had just met. As they rode back to the bar, Fisher lost sight of the lead rider. Upon approaching a curve, Fisher encountered the lead motorcyclist stopped in the middle of the road. As Fisher attempted to maneuver around him, the lead rider abruptly turned left, resulting in a collision. Following the crash, the lead motorcyclist allegedly attempted to assist Fisher but then fled the scene on foot. Local law enforcement was unable to locate him that night, but the sheriff's office has since identified the individual involved. The investigation into the incident remains active and ongoing as authorities seek to gather more information regarding the circumstances surrounding the crash.
