Los Angeles FC (LAFC) and the Columbus Crew will face off in the Leagues Cup final after both teams secured decisive victories in their semi-final matches on Wednesday. LAFC dominated the Colorado Rapids with a 4-0 win in California, while the Crew triumphed over the Philadelphia Union with a 3-1 victory in Ohio. This final will be a rematch of last season’s MLS Cup, which the Crew won. In LAFC's match, Polish forward Mateusz Bogusz opened the scoring in the 42nd minute, followed by a goal from veteran striker Kei Kamara just two minutes later. Denis Bouanga extended the lead with a goal in the 59th minute, marking his sixth of the tournament. English midfielder Lewis O’Brien capped off the rout with a left-footed shot in the 75th minute, solidifying LAFC's place in the final.
