Ford recalls 355,000 trucks over dangerous dashboard display failures

To remedy this situation, Ford will provide a software update that can be performed through an over-the-air update, enabling a more convenient solution for customers compared to a dealer visit. Owners affected by the recall will receive notifications by mail advising them on the next steps. In a separate incident occurring prior, General Motors also issued a recall spanning over 23,000 Chevrolet Corvettes due to a dangerous fuel leak issue that could potentially result in fires. This was linked to reports of excess fuel spilling into the fuel-filler pocket during refueling, which in turn posed a fire risk when it came in contact with an ignition source. Both situations highlight significant safety concerns addressed by major automotive manufacturers as they work to resolve potential hazards through recalls and updates.
