The BBC has partnered with a prominent name in the K-pop industry to provide the UK-based band Dear Alice with a unique opportunity to enhance their skills and experience the vibrant world of K-pop. Blaise, originally from Belgium, moved to the UK at 14 to study Musical Theatre at the BRIT School. He has dedicated himself to honing his skills in dancing, singing, and acting, acknowledging that while his training has been beneficial, K-pop presents a different set of challenges. His passion for performance is evident, as he strives to merge his theatrical background with the energetic style of K-pop. Olly Quinn, a recent graduate from Laine Theatre Arts and Bird College, joined Dear Alice after leaving his family behind in Sunderland. He brings a strong vocal focus to the band, emphasizing his journey in developing a performance style that blends singing and dancing, a hallmark of K-pop artists. His previous experience in modeling and event work adds to his versatility as a performer. Reese, influenced by his father's career in set design, has a rich background in theatre and dance, having trained at the Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts. His experience performing on cruise ships has further shaped his artistic journey, making him a valuable asset to the band as they navigate the challenges of K-pop performance.
