Story

In the United States, AEG engaged in a significant initiative to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need during the holiday season. On November 22, 2024, AEG partnered with its soccer franchise, the LA Galaxy, to host its 21st annual Thanksgiving Foundations’ Feast at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, where over 250 families from the South Bay area were served meals. LA Galaxy's officials, including Head Coach Greg Vanney and four-time U.S. Olympic gold medalist Steve Lewis, joined AEG staff to assist in the event, which included apparel distributions for children in attendance. Following this, on November 26, AEG held its second annual Holly Jolly Thanksgiving Dinner at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, serving more than 200 families. This event featured entertainment such as a visit from Santa Claus, alongside the distribution of free passes to a local holiday lights experience. Furthermore, on November 28, AEG Presents hosted the Mission Cares Thanksgiving Day Feast at Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado, where over 100 meals were served to community members in need. This event saw participation from various local nonprofits that supported outreach to those attending. On the same day, AEG's CEO, Dan Beckerman, led employee volunteers in serving 250 meals at The Novo L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, targeting local veterans and families invited from nonprofits focused on community support. These initiatives by AEG reflect the company's commitment to community engagement, focusing on alleviating challenges faced by families during holidays. With over 120 million dollars contributed to charitable programs in the past decade, AEG's efforts are grounded in supporting children and families in areas such as education and health. These Thanksgiving events not only provided meals but also created opportunities for families to connect, engage in festive activities, and receive necessary support during a challenging time.
