Schneider Electric launches R&D expansion in Shanghai

On Tuesday, Schneider Electric inaugurated the second phase of its Jinshan Innovation Laboratory Park in Shanghai, significantly expanding its research and development capabilities. The new phase covers approximately 14,000 square meters and includes seven types of laboratories, staffed by hundreds of R&D personnel. This expansion increases the total laboratory area by 40%, enhancing the company's ability to innovate and respond to market demands more swiftly. Ren Jing, Senior Vice President of Schneider Electric, emphasized that this expansion is a strategic move to bolster R&D and innovation in China. The upgraded facilities are designed to accelerate the development and testing processes, thereby shortening the product development cycle from concept to market.
