The new lawsuit, filed in California, is linked to a scam that predates Google's earlier actions, underscoring the persistent issue of cryptoscams on the Play Store. In response to these challenges, Google is set to launch two significant security measures: a mass deletion of harmful apps and a live threat detection feature in the upcoming Android 15.
