The induction ceremony will take place on Sunday at The Honda Center in Anaheim, California, as part of the D23 fan convention. Among the notable inductees, James L. Brooks joins the ranks alongside Williams, famed for his iconic scores in the “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones” franchises. Harrison Ford, who was previously honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame over two decades ago, will have his handprints and signature immortalized once again. Ford is set to appear in the upcoming Marvel film “Captain America: Brave New World,” while Angela Bassett continues her role in ABC’s “9-1-1.” Miley Cyrus, the youngest recipient of the Legends honor, gained fame through the Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana” and recently won her first Grammy Award. Jamie Lee Curtis, known for her extensive work with Disney, is set to reprise her role in the sequel to “Freaky Friday.” Ripa, a television veteran, continues to engage audiences with her show “Live with Kelly and Mark.” In addition to the stars, Disney is honoring six behind-the-scenes creatives, including Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood and late comics artist Steve Ditko. Since the program's inception in 1987, over 300 individuals, including icons like Elton John and Betty White, have been recognized as Disney Legends.
