- The 10th edition is expected to attract even more attendees than previous years, solidifying Dubai's status as a luxury watch hub.
In the United Arab Emirates, Dubai Watch Week is preparing to celebrate its significant milestone, the 10th anniversary, in November 2025. This biennial event, which is not held annually, has evolved into one of the largest independently run regional watch shows globally. Initially founded and operated by Ahmed Seddiqi, a prominent watch retailer, the event has become synonymous with luxury and innovation within the watch industry. This year, to commemorate a decade of success, the venue will be relocated to a larger space of 200,000 square feet at Burj Park, Dubai Mall, which is more centrally located than the previous site in the financial district. The 10th edition of Dubai Watch Week will feature a dramatic increase in the number of exhibitors, rising from past events to 90 renowned watch brands. This represents a 46 percent increase in participation, highlighting the growing interest among brands and partners ahead of the event. Major luxury brands slated to exhibit their pieces include Audemars Piguet, Rolex, Chanel, and TAG Heuer, along with many others like H. Moser & Cie and Jacob & Co. This year’s edition is expected to attract a larger audience than the previous event held in November 2023, which already saw attendance of 23,000 visitors from around the world. In addition to the increased exhibitor count, the show organizers have reformatted their programming to include enhanced classes, immersive experiences, and round-table discussions to enrich visitor engagement and education. This reform and expansion coincide with the 75th anniversary of the Seddiqi retail stores, which have played a crucial role in the UAE’s luxury watch market since their inception in 1950. Notably, a commemorative timepiece featuring sand from the dunes of all seven Emirates will be introduced during the celebration, with only 20 exclusive pieces created. As shared by Hind Seddiqi, the CEO of Dubai Watch Week, the exploration of fresh interests from brands signals growth for Dubai as a global destination in the luxury watch segment. The Dubai Watch Week remains free and open to the public, which allows enthusiasts and collectors alike to experience the latest innovations and craftsmanship in horology. Running from November 19 to 23, 2025, this is set not just to be an anniversary celebration, but strategically positioned to further establish Dubai as an essential hub for the global watch community. This greater focus on public accessibility aims to elevate the experience and interaction between collectors, brands, and the general public, fostering a deeper appreciation of the art and intricacies of watchmaking.
