Giuliani's RNC Trip Funded by Lindell's Media Platform Amid Bankruptcy Scrutiny
- Mike Lindell's media platform paid for Rudy Giuliani's trip to the Republican National Convention.
- Giuliani's finances are under scrutiny by a bankruptcy court.
- Lindell's company was ordered to pay legal fees in a fallout from election fraud claim litigation.
In a significant legal development, conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell's company has been ordered to pay attorney’s fees following litigation related to his 2020 election fraud claims. A federal judge previously awarded $5 million to Robert Zeidman, who successfully challenged Lindell’s assertions in the "Prove Mike Wrong" contest. Lindell Management has since filed an appeal to overturn this ruling. Recently, a federal magistrate judge ordered the company to pay an additional $4,508 in attorney’s fees to Zeidman, who had initially sought $12,800. The judge noted that Zeidman’s discovery requests were overly broad, contributing to the costs incurred. In a separate matter, Rudy Giuliani's recent trip to Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention was funded by Lindell's media platform, FrankSpeech. Giuliani's attorney confirmed in a bankruptcy court that both his flight and hotel expenses were covered by Lindell’s company. This clarification was made to dispel rumors that Giuliani had personally financed the trip. The former New York City mayor is currently embroiled in bankruptcy proceedings, facing significant debts, including approximately $150 million owed to various creditors. Giuliani's financial troubles include a $350,000 bill for a forensic accountant, which the bankruptcy judge is attempting to resolve. Creditors are scrutinizing his expenditures, particularly around the time of the RNC, while seeking to recover debts owed to election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, whom Giuliani defamed post-2020 election. Lindell defended his financial support for Giuliani, stating that he provides first-class travel for all his hosts on FrankSpeech TV.
