The Olympic flame is set to complete its journey on Friday, culminating in the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics along the Seine River. Among the notable torchbearers is rapper Snoop Dogg, who will carry the flame through Saint-Denis, a suburb of Paris that houses the Stade de France and the Olympic Village. Snoop, known for his philanthropic efforts through the Snoop Youth Football League, aims to provide opportunities for inner-city children in sports. He will also participate in the Olympics coverage, adding to the event's cultural significance. The torch relay began with another musical icon, Marseille's own singer Jul, who lit the Olympic cauldron on May 8, marking the flame's arrival in France. Architects Cécilia Gross and Laure Mériaud have creatively designed the aquatic center to accommodate various activities while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
