Google Photos makes wallpaper setting a breeze

In a future update to Google Photos, a new feature is set to enhance user experience by simplifying the process of setting wallpapers on smartphones. Currently, users often struggle to find the option to set an edited image as their wallpaper due to its convoluted menu placement. To set a wallpaper, users have to open an image, click on the three-dot menu in the corner, and navigate to a buried option that leads to further steps. Such a process can be frustrating, especially for those not accustomed to extensive menu navigation. The forthcoming Google Photos update aims to address these concerns by introducing a direct Set as wallpaper option in the toolbar accessed after tapping the three-dot menu, streamlining the wallpaper setting process. While the Use as option will remain, it will no longer provide access to the wallpaper settings, effectively decluttering the process. The update appears to be under development, with hints seen in Google Photos v7.0, although it is not yet available for public use. Users hope for a swift rollout of this user-friendly feature to simplify their experience and reduce the number of clicks required to set a wallpaper, which can often prove tedious.
