Titans Offense Faces Challenges in Practice, Coach Highlights Areas for Improvement

In a recent practice session, the Tennessee Titans' offense encountered difficulties, particularly during the third down period. Quarterback Will Levis experienced a setback when a deep throw intended for Calvin Ridley slipped from his hands, resulting in an interception by Tre Avery. Coach Brian Callahan acknowledged the challenges posed by the defense, noting their effectiveness on third downs. "They do a good job. It was a challenge for us offensively," Callahan remarked, emphasizing the importance of such competitive practice scenarios for developing a strong team. Despite the setbacks, Callahan pointed out some positive aspects of the offense during the base down period. He recognized that the offensive line faced disadvantages without pads, which contributed to missed opportunities. "We missed a couple of throws we could have had," he stated, highlighting a particularly impressive play by running back Tony, who executed a nice route.
