TAMPA, Fla. — Authorities have arrested three suspects in connection with the June slaying of 26-year-old rapper Julio Foolio, whose real name is Charles Jones. The arrests were made on Saturday in Jacksonville, following the rapper's fatal shooting in a hotel parking lot on June 23. The suspects, identified as Sean Gathright, 18, Alicia Andrews, 21, and Isaiah Chance Jr., 21, are charged with premeditated first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reported that Gathright was the shooter, while Andrews and Chance were involved in planning the attack but did not participate in the actual shooting. All three suspects are currently held at the Duval County Pre-Trial Detention Center and are awaiting transfer to Tampa for further proceedings. The investigation continues as two additional suspects remain at large. Hillsborough County State Attorney Suzy Lopez emphasized the seriousness of the situation, stating, "Let me be clear, the feud stops here." The sheriff's office noted that Jones was affiliated with the "6 Block" gang, which has been embroiled in a long-standing feud with rival gangs ATK and 1200, resulting in numerous violent incidents over the past decade. In a statement, Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. warned that there would be no safe haven for criminals in Florida, reinforcing the commitment to public safety and the ongoing efforts to combat gang violence in the region.
