Officials announced ambitious plans to transform the area into a leading hub for AI technology. They emphasized special funding initiatives, including an allocation of up to 100 million yuan for projects targeting top talent, along with monthly rental subsidies of up to 10,000 yuan per household to attract skilled professionals. The conference, part of the 2025 Future Industry Ecological Conference series, was themed around AI-driven opportunities and attracted over 250 participants, including industry leaders and experts. During the conference, participants showcased notable advancements in AI, including large industrial models and the latest applications in robotics. Wu Hongjuan, the director of the management committee at WEDZ, interacted with guests using her AI-supported digital form, underlining the commitment to innovative technologies. The collaborative atmosphere led to the signing of 60 projects with an investment total of 6.87 billion yuan, addressing sectors such as intelligent robots, large language models, vehicles, and big data. Additionally, local governmental officials, such as Du Xiaogang, Party Secretary of Wuxi, and Zhou Wendong, the Deputy Mayor, expressed their support for fostering a business-friendly environment. They detailed measures to guarantee timely government responses to companies' needs and minimize disruptions in operations. The overarching goal is to create a vibrant and appealing community that attracts talent, especially among the youth.
