Story

Azimut Exploration Inc. has reported significant progress in its summer exploration activities across seventeen properties in Quebec, with a total budget of $10 million, of which $6 million is funded by partners. The field season has seen the collection of 3,001 rock samples, 1,385 till samples, and 504 lake sediment samples, alongside 3,449 meters drilled on the Elmer project. Notably, the discovery of the Equinox Zone, located 14 km east of the Patwon Gold Zone, highlights the potential for valuable mineralization in the region. The company has also focused on lithium and gold exploration, with promising results from various projects. For instance, the Wabamisk property yielded 283 grab samples, and the best drill result to date showed 1.62% Li2O over 158.0 meters. Additionally, spodumene pegmatite boulders were identified, indicating further potential for lithium extraction. The Kaanaayaa project, under a Rio Tinto option, confirmed significant potential for nickel-copper-PGE mineralization. Other ongoing exploration efforts include prospecting and geochemical surveys across multiple properties, such as Chromaska, Corne, and Mercator. The company is also conducting high-resolution remote sensing analysis to enhance its understanding of the mineral potential in these areas. The exploration activities are being overseen by Dr. Jean-Marc Lulin, Vice President of Exploration, ensuring that the work adheres to industry standards. Overall, Azimut's summer exploration activities reflect a robust commitment to advancing its mineral exploration initiatives, with a focus on lithium, gold, and other valuable minerals. The results obtained thus far indicate a promising outlook for future discoveries and partnerships in the mineral exploration sector.
