Steve Witkoff claims peace deal is possible between Russia and Ukraine

In recent remarks, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff expressed optimism about brokering a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. In an interview, he stated that not only does he foresee a ceasefire, but he also anticipates that both nations might reach an agreement concerning maritime strikes in the Black Sea. Witkoff, who has met with leaders from both sides, believes there is a degree of willingness for compromise, particularly after conversations involving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Yet, he acknowledged the complexity of the situation, particularly concerning territorial disputes stemming from the conflict.
