Sam Smith captivated thousands of fans with a stunning performance at Malta's SummerDaze Festival, held at Ta' Qali National Park. The 32-year-old singer showcased a mix of classic hits and new tracks, delighting the audience with their dynamic stage presence and a series of eye-catching outfit changes. From black bondage-inspired looks to vibrant rainbow ruffles, Smith's fashion choices added to the spectacle of the evening. One standout outfit featured a black top hat adorned with horns, paired with black suspenders and a tight corset, exuding a dominatrix vibe as they performed the provocative lyrics of "Unholy." Another memorable ensemble was a large rainbow-ruffled coat, which drew attention despite the sweltering heat. Smith's effortless performance was a highlight of the festival, which marked its fifth edition this year. The SummerDaze Main Event attracted over 35,000 attendees, with performances from headliners Sam Smith and Becky Hill, alongside local artist Shaun Farrugia and BBC Radio 1’s Charlie Hedges. The week-long festival has become the largest of the year, drawing a total of 60,000 attendees across various events. Looking ahead, the festivities will continue with VidaLoca at UNO Malta on August 16, followed by a live-broadcast event hosted by BBC Radio 1 Dance on August 17, featuring a star-studded lineup. The week will conclude with a performance by Kungs at Café Del Mar on August 18, ensuring an exciting end to the SummerDaze celebrations. Tickets for the remaining events are still available online.
