Story

Audi has officially launched the new A5, a pivotal addition to its luxury vehicle lineup, which will replace the A4. This model will be available in both sedan and estate configurations, reflecting Audi's updated naming strategy that assigns even numbers to electric vehicles and odd numbers to those powered by internal combustion engines. The A5 is built on Audi's advanced Premium Platform Combustion, designed to accommodate both traditional and electrified powertrains. The new A5 showcases a larger and more refined design compared to its predecessor, measuring 4.83 meters in length and 1.86 meters in width. This represents an increase of 67mm in length and 13mm in width over the A4. Additionally, the wheelbase has been extended to 2.9 meters, enhancing stability and providing more interior space for passengers. Inside, the A5 is equipped with a range of modern features aimed at maximizing comfort and convenience for drivers and passengers alike. Audi has also diversified the A5 lineup by offering both conventional and mild-hybrid options, catering to a broader audience with varying preferences for powertrains. Customers can select from a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine available in two power outputs: 150bhp and 204bhp. The higher output variant includes the Quattro all-wheel drive system, further emphasizing Audi's commitment to performance and innovation in the luxury automotive market.
