In Tallahassee, Florida, on Saturday night, No. 15 Clemson secured a decisive 29-13 victory over Florida State. The Tigers established dominance early, taking a 17-0 lead in the first quarter. Quarterback Cade Klubnik showcased his skills with 235 passing yards, completing 19 of 33 attempts, including two touchdown passes to Antonio Williams and T.J. Moore. Additionally, he contributed 62 rushing yards, demonstrating his versatility on the field. Phil Mafah was instrumental in the ground game, rushing for 136 yards on 20 carries, helping Clemson accumulate a total of 265 rushing yards at an impressive average of 6.6 yards per carry. Florida State struggled offensively, particularly in the rushing department, finishing with only 22 yards on 23 carries. Redshirt freshman quarterback Brock Glenn completed 23 of 41 passes for 228 yards, managing to throw touchdowns to Amaree Williams and Ja’Khi Douglas. However, the lack of a balanced offensive attack hindered the Seminoles' ability to compete effectively against the Tigers. Clemson's victory marked their fourth consecutive win in Tallahassee, a streak that began in 2016. The win also allowed Coach Dabo Swinney to achieve his 174th victory at Clemson, setting a new record for wins at an Atlantic Coast Conference school, previously held by Florida State's legendary coach Bobby Bowden. Looking ahead, Clemson will face Wake Forest next Saturday, while Florida State will have a bye week before their next game against Duke on October 18.
