Ashmolean Museum Raises £4.5 Million to Save Crucifixion Painting

The Ashmolean Museum has successfully raised approximately £4.5 million to acquire a significant 1420s crucifixion painting by the renowned artist Fra Angelico. An export bar was established early in the year, providing Oxford University a nine-month window to gather funds for its purchase.
