Lily Allen has teased the possibility of new music in the near future, although she clarified that it will not be a full album. During a recent episode of her podcast, "Miss Me?", Allen engaged in a candid conversation with her longtime friend, Jones, who reminisced about their encounter in London 15 years ago when she was on her way to therapy. Allen admitted to being “quite intoxicated” at the time, which has affected her memory of that period. Reflecting on her past performances, Allen expressed regret over not remembering significant moments in her career, stating, “I feel really sad for myself because I don’t remember what a lot of people would consider to be the best parts of my life.” She noted that while she can vaguely recall the applause from her Glastonbury performance, many concerts have blurred together due to her state during those years. Jones encouraged Allen to consider returning to the stage, suggesting there was “no reason” she couldn’t perform at large shows again. However, Allen emphasized the need to write “good f***ing songs,” which she feels is currently not happening. Her previous works include the acclaimed debut album "Alright, Still" and its follow-up, "It’s Not Me, It’s You." In the same podcast episode, Jones shared insights from his own career, including his experiences in the F1 circuit and a heartfelt account of his wife Felicia’s battle with endometriosis. "Miss Me?" airs twice weekly on BBC Sounds and is available on major streaming platforms.
