A New Artistic Pathway in Tuscany Offers Serenity and Scenic Beauty

A newly inaugurated trail, the Sentiero dell’Arte e dell’Anima, or Path of Art and Soul, invites visitors to explore the picturesque countryside of Val d’Orcia from the charming town of Pienza. This artistic pathway, which spans just under two miles, features 28 unique benches crafted by renowned artists, providing both a place to rest and an opportunity to appreciate the stunning landscape. Pienza, celebrated for its Renaissance architecture, was designed by the esteemed architect Bernardo Rossellino, who utilized white travertine marble to create a visually striking environment. The town is surrounded by elegant palazzi, further enhancing its historical significance and aesthetic appeal.
