Skoda unveils Elroq electric SUV in Prague on October 1

Skoda Auto is preparing for the global debut of its Elroq electric SUV, scheduled for October 1 in Prague. This launch represents a significant milestone for the company as it introduces its first fully electric compact SUV, aligning with the growing demand for electric vehicles in the automotive market. The Elroq is designed to appeal to environmentally conscious consumers while maintaining the brand's commitment to quality and performance. The Elroq will be available in four distinct powertrain options, catering to a range of customer preferences. The base model, Elroq 50, features a 168bhp motor paired with a 55kWh battery, while the Elroq 60 offers a more powerful 201bhp motor with a 63kWh battery. The higher-end variants, Elroq 85 and 85x, come equipped with an 82kWh battery, with the Elroq 85 delivering 208bhp and the 85x providing an impressive 295bhp through dual motors. This variety ensures that customers can choose a model that best fits their driving needs. In addition to its performance capabilities, the Elroq will showcase Skoda's latest 'Modern Solid' design language, featuring a new 'Tech-Dark face' and advanced LED Matrix headlights. The vehicle's aesthetic is complemented by a striking Timiano Green color option, enhancing its visual appeal. The design changes reflect Skoda's commitment to innovation and modernity in its vehicle lineup.
